Maybe Susan was born there. This was one comment under the video of the hospital.

"The village was a Psychiatric hospital, the main hospital quarter mile up the road l would have been where you were born, I was born there in 72, my Family worked there for many years."

And another comment "Hard to believe it's been nearly 25 years since bangour village hospital closed and replaced by St. John's hospital. There was talk of the village being redeveloped as a housing scheme but obviously still not happened. Tragic to see as some of the buildings were beautiful"

Yes, MJ. Positive - Bangour had the best Maternity Unit in the County at the time that Susan was born, and she mentions it several times in her Autobiography, notably on page 13.

Her Uncle was at St. John's in Livingston which is now the major Hospital serving West Lothian and the hospital that Susan herself has attended on a number of occasions.

Thanks, SB. I loaned my copy of TWIWBTB to a friend who never returned it to me.

never loan books, cd's or dvd's without making a list and the time they were loaned. I just had to replace one that i loaned someone several years ago. It was an Autobiography of Pattie Boyd. Beatle Fans would know who she was. It is called " Wonderful Tonight"-- she was the muse for both George Harrison and Eric Clapton. I lent it to someone. Never remembered WHO it was.
I finally just bought a paperback copy online at Amazon, when someone sent me a gift certificate for Xmas. My original hardback copy, likely was a First Edition, too. Like that would be WORTH anything (LOL)

I have found that 90% of the time, when you "loan" a book, etc. to someone, you might as well consider that you are "giving" it to them. Surprising, too, usually, as the people are completely trustworthy on other things.
