    We, as her adoring fans, are privileged to constantly watch and enjoy the public activities of Global Superstar, Susan Boyle. I am maintaining a daily log of the highlights of Susa-news and not editorializing toooo much. Accuracy is very important - PLEASE PM any additions and/or corrections to me. I’ve tried to credit the right Fan where possible. Please forgive my mistakes and send me a correction.

    December 11-17: Susan was out and about

    December 11, Sunday

    1. Sherry from Florida posted rankings from iTunes in The Netherlands: The Gift, #152; A Wonderful World, #199. She also noted that “perhaps the interest in “O Holy Night” and “Auld Lang Syne” is driving sales of The Gift in so many places.

    2. Sherry from Florida also noted the tally of monthly listeners on Spotify had risen to 1,219,607.

    December 12, Monday
    1. Susan was one the celebrities who helped raise money at The Scottish Sun’s Charity Shop Event at St. Enoch Centre in Glasgow. The professional Susan Boyle, in black heels, raspberry dress, fancy scarf and gray fur coat was on hand to cut the ribbon and officially open the Charity Shop. All the merchandise was new and donated; all proceeds go to MNDScotland, Motor Neuron Disease in Scotland and Rainbow Valley, a cancer organization. A few tweets from the event:

    “Susan Boyle, the Bay City Rollers, Judy Murray and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon made it an opening day to remember at The Scottish Sun’s Christmas pop-up shop.     1. Thescottishsun.co.uk posted “Susan Boyle, Bay City Rollers, Judy Murray and Nicola Sturgeon… the best of The Scottish Sun Christmas pop-up shop in pictures” by Jonathan Whitelaw. A short summary:
    “Welcome to the Subo-store. The First Minister served shoppers and host of celebs entertained shoppers as they snapped up bargains galore – all in aid of MND Scotland and Rainbow Valley. It all kicked off with BGT superstar SuBo cutting the ribbon before Judy Murray, Nicola Sturgeon and Ruth Davidson turned up to serve shoppers – as well as entertaining them with a game of head tennis.”

    2. Sherry from Florida noted that the tally of monthly Susa-listeners on Spotify has risen to 1,344,966. She also noted that A Wonderful World was not on Billboard 200 sales for its 5th week after release.

    3. Harking back to Susan’s 2009 audition on Britain’s Got Talent, Campaignlive.co.uk posted “YouTube viewing on TV doubles in one year” by Gurkit Degun. A highlight:
    “Frot-Coutaz, the chief executive at Fremantle Media Group, added: ‘We’re making increasing investments in all digital media in years to come. We would love to tell some stories today.’
    “She explained that the company felt threatened by YouTube at first. But when the clip of Susan Boyle was so popular, Freemantle Media realised that it could work in its favour by ‘extending the life of its shows’.”

    December 14, Wednesday

    1. Susan was out and about; a tweet from Edinburgh: “Was in the shop and saw Susan boyle – happiest day of my life!”

Susan was out visiting and spreading Christmas cheer; tweets from a local young woman: “Susan Boyle just came over and offered to buy my gran a dog and said she would take it walks etc, not an everyday occurrence.” And then added: “My mum also said to her she liked her jacket and she offered to buy her the same one hahahaha, any offers for me or?”

    2. More rankings for A Wonderful World, thanks to Sherry from Florida and CanadianBill: Ireland Week 3, #55; Scotland Week 3, #12; UK Week 3 Official Main Chart, #31;UK Week 3 Official Chart Physicals Only, #27; #8 on New Zealand Albums Chart (same as last week); New Zealand chart run so far 10 - 8 - 8.”
