However, due to "bickering" it will have to be postponed til next year. Elaine and Michael were VERY smart to get this musical about Susan out early. This will pretty much set the standard.
Oh that is interesting about the Spice Girls musical zeldasw, last I heard it was going ahead. I believe there is another musical Coronation St. The Musical (?) in the works, they will all have a very difficult time keeping up with IDAD THe Musical.

My advice to anyone who has tickets for Liverpool, if the ONLY reason they are going is to see Miss B, to keep checking their radios and papers, etc.
Sounds like they meant one of the two shows for which she had tickets. Doubt seriously if it meant she would only be doing one show for the week. I suppose that could be true, but I doubt it.

Yes, that could be....i know when you call a theatre for information, you are sometimes talking to someone who works part time and has no idea. I am making no claims this is totally true, but I just saw it so i posted it.

Smart of the producers to keep the staging for IDAD simple and it has a decidedly happy ending. Apparently the Coronation Street musical "The Street of Dreams" had to be rescheduled due to the "intricacy of scale in the staging" and will now open in May. A lot of recent musicals were short-lived, for example 'The Holocaust Musical' (how could they?) and 'Gone With the Wind', pretty cheesy I understand. Neither had happy endings but I'm not sure if that was the problem, Cabaret in 1970 and Sweeny Todd in 1979 ended tragically yet both were an instant sensation and are still around. Titanic the Musical in 1997 won five Tony's including the Best Musical award and is still touring.

This is great, Clemmie. You speak for all of us ~ and very well, too.

BTW, quite a few of us show up in the crowd shots, which is nice.
