I don't like the new hairdo. It's too much volume.

Nope. It's one-sided and wrong on both sides. What were they thinking? And can anybody complain?

I sent a note asking about it to MT's Blackpool on Facebook from my account there. Let's see if they answer!

The cap and gown from the graduation must have been temporary then. It's gone now!

Kate, they answered me on twitter so hope they answer you on facebook! I don't like the hair now either. I had asked them if the pic we saw with the cap and gown was for real and they said it was. They were proud of Susan getting the Honorary Degree so they gave her a MT ( Madame Tussauds ) Degree!

I think that I remember about the hair being real also. I know that it would have to be washed from time to time. I wonder how they do that. And the clothes would have to be washed occasionally also, because dust gets everywhere no matter how clean a building is. I also wonder if the statues ever have to be repaired because of damage. I find it odd that they let people get close to it and touch it and actually seemingly hang all over it for photos.

That's must be a huge job.

I'm very confused why they let people get so close to the wax figures and allow to touch them. It makes even more difficult to keep them in good shape. Any crazy one will see that as a green light to mess around with the wax, the hair or the the dress.
