You might be interested in seeing the very nice page on the RCS web page. It does have a list of some of Susan's achievements. It isn't nearly as extensive and complete as CB's list, though.

"Susan Boyle facts and statistics over the past five years
To date the list of Susan’s successes is in itself compelling reading: 650 Million YouTube hits and the most watched clip of 2009. Two Grammy nominations, 3 Guinness World Records, over 22 million albums sold, no.1 albums in 40+ countries, more platinum album certifications than can be counted. Six albums released and a seventh in production. Performing to half a billion people on the final of China’s Got Talent, headline grabbing performances on the biggest TV shows around the globe, she has sung for the Pope, the Queen, ticked off her wish list of meeting musical and screen idols and smashed music records held by the Beatles that had remained unchanged since the 1960’s. Combined with a successful autobiography, a musical about her life story, sell out UK and USA tours, movie roles and hit documentaries, Susan continues to be an unstoppable force in the music world and the very reason the RCS wants to award her distinction in this field."

Thanks, CB, for all the work you put into this compilation. It's a mighty big list of her achievements. I hope whoever has printed negative things about Susan starts feeling guilty, but they probably won't!!!

OOOPS! Of course she has that, Bill. But I was thinking of a title conferred by the Queen i.e. Dame Susan Boyle.

I agree Moll! This lady as accomplished so much within herself and without in public. She has accomplished what many do not dare, namely to take the first step. She has and her courage is legend and will continue to be so, and yes she deserves the title of Dame Susan Boyle. And a big thanks to you Bill for your brilliant summary of Susan's achievements. She is looking good.

Excellent supportive comments now and stronger than the silly negative ones.

It is overwhelming to see how much Susan has accomplished in just 6 years - more than most entertainers have in their lifetime! How lucky we are to be observing and enjoying this wonderful woman as she moves through life with such talent and grace!

I think that sadly there are many folk who feel that anything that they don't like - be it music, film. dress, anything really - is therefore "crap". The "I don't like this so its rubbish" mentality is quite common. Some folk do not appear to have grasped that worth is intrinsic and not something which can be conferred via the ever changing "in things" of the day. It is also sad because such closed minds miss out on so much that the world has to offer when they are not even prepared to consider that something which may not be to their taste, does have intrinsic worth and value and that it can be enjoyed and appreciated. JMHO.

The biggest communication problem is that we do not listen to understand. We listen to reply!!!
