Was a price given for that machine and if so, should this be included? I remember it was in the thousands of dollars.
I looked the machine up online and found a price of just under $40,000. This Russian article named the exact model: Penlon Prima SP2.

We think it's best to leave the Philanthropy sections as they are for the time being since no one has taken them down. Best not to give anyone a reason to complain about what they consider unnecessary details.

      • Thanks so much, Sherry and Shewa!!!

I still don't understand who has the power to simply remove the original Philanthropy section.

          One of life's mysteries!
Believe me, it was hard removing items. What are to them unnecessary details are gems of information which show us what a caring person Susan is.

          • It may be possible that Susan does not want some things brought to light, such as how much and which charities she gives to. I can see where that would be a private matter for her. One possibility as to why.

            • manny, all info currently in the new Wiki section (and on the thread here - Susan's Charity Choices) is public knowledge - without question imo, Susan also makes donations, etc very privately without any fanfare. Those things of course, we'll never know.

shewa and sherry from florida have done a great deal of work on Susan's Wiki pages (there are many, not just one). If you've noticed something not updated, please be specific so it can be attended to.

On perusing Susan's Wiki page, it notes that Susan's parents were Irish. This is an error. Both Susan's parents were, in fact, Scottish, NOT Irish.

Hadn't noticed that Stevieboy, but it is a common error I've seen a lot of places. Susan's Irish heritage stems from her grandparents, not her parents. I'll PM Sherry about it.

                      • I may be missing the Wikipedia Page link, but I don't see it on the first post of this thread and on the main page. Is there some quick way to find it here if anyone is seeking information to the page?

Tommy's provided the main link, but you should know there are many Wiki pages for Susan now... for example, one for each album, for the stage play, for the concert series, etc, etc.

Is it the norm in the UK for the "place of birth" rather than bloodlines to determine "nationality?" Since my grandfather was born near Dublin I guess my cousin would be right then that we "are Irish?" My dad always held that the family was "English." I like thinking Irish since the grandniece's grandfather was pure Irish so they can "major" in one nationality.

                              • Thank you, Tommy. I just posted that link on 2 of my blogs, as I realized I didn't have it readily available for viewers. I was thinking it should be on the main page or first post here so that anyone new could go to it immediately. Thanks for your quick response, always.
