Susan's A National Treasure
Although this is a US article - the conclusion that Susan is a national treasure is spot on.

I suppose that it will not have harmed the business of E and M Horsburgh one little bit, either!
Imagine being able to claim that the woman everyone on the planet is talking about this weekend is a regular on their Number 557 bus frae Blackburn to Bathgate!
Not bad for a local bus firm!

Susan Is Green!
Good example for all of us. So far --
Susan takes public transportation or walks whenever possible.
She buys local.
She takes her own water bottle.
She reduces/ reuses/ recycles --remember those old pants with the defective closure? And her old home? (as opposed to Simon's multiple mansions).
(We'll forget the multiple plane flights--her contract makes her do that.)

Just the "mother hen" in me but Susan's so famous now and I do worry about her walking and traveling around in public by herself (thought her security had been beefed up due to a stalker) and there's no many crazies out there. I guess it's a "Catch 22" - I want her to have her freedom but I fear for her safety as well.
