  • Susa-News Summary - Week of Sept 20-26

We, as her adoring fans, are privileged to watch and enjoy each “baby step” as Susan Boyle enhances her reputation as World Famous Superstar. I am totally fascinated by all things Susan Boyle. I am daily summarizing the significant Susa-news and will post each week’s summary (Sunday to Saturday) each Sunday morning.

The Susa-news is noted by day and date within each week. Week #1 begins with the first week of July with the end of the Britain’s Got Talent Tour. Yesterday’s news is at the top with last Sunday’s at the bottom. News items about Susan’s Debut Album are blue. Each news entry is numbered only for clarity, NOT for priority; there is an attempt at chronological order in a day’s list. In no way is this a complete compilation, but it is just my attempt to summarize the highlights of each day in the world of “SusanBoyleSuperStar”.
(PLEASE PM any additions and/or corrections to me, as accuracy is important.)

East wonders if doing a cover of a well-known song is a winning solution, but he adds it depends on the performer and the song. He discusses the many covers of Wild Horses but says, “none are half as good as the effort from an impossibly uncool 48-year-old woman from West Lothian, Scotland. There’s something genuinely gripping about her performance; it comes from someone who isn’t just knocking out a cover for a laugh but genuinely believes in the power of the song. And all this from someone who didn’t even win Britain’s Got Talent.”

    5. The Official Susan Boyle Website, susanboylemusicuk, has begun to take action against “susanboyle’s Channel” on YouTube, which, although it purports to represent Susan, has no association with Susan Boyle, our Scottish Wonder Woman.

And there stood sweet Susan, the most unlikely star on the planet, modestly nodding her head and carefully acknowledging the musicians who had accompanied her as if somehow the crowd were cheering for them and not for her. It was beyond adorable. It was a gesture of gratitude; offered by one of "us;" a regular Joe who got unbelievably lucky... And knows it. Nicely done, Susan. Rock on.”

    3. On the Official SB Website, in the Australian screen, the debut album CD is to be released on Friday, November 20.

It is Susan Boyle,…..That is not an insult to Robbie Williams, it is just that, bizarre as it sounds, Boyle is the new-artist story of the year around the world. The interest factor alone will bring her many, many sales."
