    2. Alternet.org posted “That Tingly Feeling: Why Do Only Some People Get 'Skin Orgasms' From Listening to Music?” by Mitchell Colver. Susan’s audition on Britain’s Got Talent was embedded as one of the examples.
“Many can identify with the phenomenon of feeling a thrill—followed by a chill—when listening to a particularly moving piece of music.
“Musical passages that include unexpected harmonies, sudden changes in volume or the moving entrance of a soloist are particularly common triggers for frisson because they violate listeners’ expectations in a positive way, similar to what occurred during the 2009 debut performance of the unassuming Susan Boyle on “Britain’s Got Talent.”

    2. Todayonline.com posted “Musical Les Miserables still shines even after 20 years” that is a review of the recent production of Les Misérables in Singapore by Anusha Krishnamoorthy. Noted in the report:
“And while the singing numbers are performed rousingly, the choreographed parts with the ensemble cast fared better (Monsieur and Madame Thénardier really shine here). One can’t help but make pop culture comparisons with the solo acts — for instance, Susan Boyle’s rendition of ‘I Dream A Dream’ continues to rank highly as one of the most moving performances. Nevertheless, the orchestra deserves props for delivering a resounding performance that carries the musical from start to finish, doing its part to bring the famous score to life.”

    June 4, Saturday

“Delighted Subo told the Sunday Mirror: ‘I’m very happy, it’s a great relief and I’m looking to the future with a happy smile. Everything is hunky dory and fantastic.’”
