    Background/Origin of Sites

SBFII originally began as privately run fan websites that were started immediately after the airing of Susan’s famous Britain’s Got Talent audition on April 11, 2009. The two websites were and are the Main website (http://www.susan-boyle.com/) and the Forum website (http://forum.susan-boyle.com/index.php). A little later, The Subo Store (http://www.subostore.com/) was added. (Note: we get a small percentage when you use the Subo Store or shop on Amazon by entering through it, so we encourage you to support SBFII that way.)

The Main website is an archive of media showcasing Susan's career. and uses Wix.com software It features a comprehensive video archive of Susan's past performances, interviews, documentaries, commercials, TV and movies, awards and still photographs. The Forum website began as a comment blog and later changed to the VBulletin discussion board software that is currently used today and has many more features. In addition, we own The Subo Store, an online shopping collaboration with Amazon.com that highlights Susan Boyle products and produces some income to support our operations.

In July 2010 the original owner sold the three websites, and a designated bidder on behalf of the membership bid on and won ownership of the site at auction, using donations, which were later repaid, to purchase the site. One of the members then undertook the process of registering Susan Boyle Fans International, Inc. as a tax-exempt C corporation in the State of Delaware,* with the intention of later registering SBFII as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization at the federal level. After further research was done, the SBFII Board of Directors decided not to pursue registration at the federal level because we would have to charge membership dues to qualify. SBFII therefore files federal taxes as a corporation under the industry classification of “other information services” (NAICS 5191).

*The State of Delaware does not charge state taxes for corporations operating elsewhere, but even if the state did, we believe SBFII would be tax-exempt as per Title 30, Chapter 19, ยง1902(b)(5). (http://delcode.delaware.gov/title30/c019/index.shtml)

    Other SBFII Social Media Presence:
In addition to the Main site, the Forum site, and the Subo Store, SBFII also has a Youtube channel, where we archive many of Susan’s performances and interviews (https://www.youtube.com/user/TheSBFII). We also maintain an active Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/susanboyle....ternationalinc) and Twitter account (https://twitter.com/susan_boyle_com).
