“2009, the year synonymous with Susan Boyle. The year she stepped onto the Britain's Got Talent stage and surprised the world. Little did she realise the global phenomenon that she was to become.
“In the blink of an eye Susan went from unknown to worldwide fame. News crews from around the globe were camped on the small narrow street in provincial Blackburn Scotland, outside her childhood home. Everyone wanted Susan Boyle.
Her debut acting role will be seen globally in November 2013 in the Christmas Candle. Playing Eleanor Hopewell, the Church Wardens wife- the film, another first for Susan Boyle cements her versatility within the world of entertainment. Susan shows no sign of slowing down.
“The remarkable story of Susan Boyle, proves time and time again that there is more to this woman than being a symbol for a moment of reflection. She entered our consciousness in a moment of surprise and continues to reignite that element of surprise with everything she does. The over riding determination to change her life for the better and make her mother proud is still the driving force behind everything that Susan does. 4. An extended tweeted commentary by a Sam Barks fan about “The Miracle Hymn” on the track of The Christmas Candle: “Have just heard the orchestral version of the Miracle Hymn(not the version sung in church) it's very dated. Pleased Sam didn't record it now … The church version is brilliant and basic, and that's all that's needed … So It can't be Oscar nominated (not the same version in TCC) as it's played over the dark screen at the end with no moving pictures. … Just played it again, the music is 2 loud and the voice seems to be in the back ground (should be the other way round)”

September 28, Saturday: Cover for Home For Christmas released

    1. Susan was in South Queensferry in Edinburgh; tweets:
    • “Wee Subo is down at south queensferry. Cutie.”

    2. A tweet from an excited homeowner in Esher, Surrey, outside London: “Okay so Susan Boyle is coming to my house to film her promotional video for her new album.”

    3. In the wee morning hours, Shewa posted: “I found this on “The Movers and Shakers” list on Amazon” with a picture of the new cover for Home For Christmas that replaced all the plain red cover place holders throughout Amazon. The cover is a very close-up picture of Susan in fuzzy wintery white hat and scarf that was originally published December 9, 2012 in Celebs on Sunday, the magazine included in The Sunday Mirror; Ruth Huntman was credited with the interview and Ray Burimston with the photography.
    • On September 7, the title for album #5 was announced as Home For Christmas; on the forum, discussion began to foment about an appropriate cover; some samples were posted by various fans. Interestingly enough, on the morning of September 10, Susa-fan CanadianBill posted, “Imo the perfect photo for a cover for this album already exists...” and posted a mock-up of a cover design using the exact same picture as the official cover. The only obvious difference is that the official cover has slightly different text and Susan’s picture has been subtly modified.

Thanks LucyB. Despite all the exciting movie news, for me the highlight of the week was definitely hearing the stunning clip from the duet 'Do You Hear What I Hear?'

      Thanks Lucy
The duet with Johnny Mathias was the highlight this week for me too, next to the amount of press Susan gets for her role in The Christmas Candle and the revealing of the beautiful cover for Susan's album.
It is so important for the cover to be noticed when it is on the shelves and this one surely will .
